Message from the MDII
manager director
"Education
– if of an applied nature- is not an expense"
is MDII’s philosophy, and we follow it in our research and training courses.
Traditional
manager development programs are based on theory derived from an academic perspective
in an educational setting.
But we believe
management, as an art and science, must blend theory and action. And management
programmes should become more practical and realistic. So our management development
programs focus on a work-based approach to management learning.
MDII's most
important teaching tool is case study, because case study describes real business
situations in real companies, and we believe that the use of the case study method
for management development is based on the belief that management is a skill that
can be best learned by practicing in a simulated environment and by receiving constructive
feedback from faculty members and peers.
MDII's methods
are soundly based on action learning and action research and have proved to enhance
individual, organizational and business growth.
